10 Hacks to Help a Struggling Reader

Our app, Alphabetics, was just featured in Time Magazine. Thanks for the recommendation Jamie Martin! Alphabetics: Smaller kids get to practice their letters in multiple ways with this app. They can speak it, write it, hear it and pick it out of a group of other letters. Feels a little more like a game than Endless Alphabet, so they can be useful at different times.

1st International Conference for Learning Differences

On July 1st I went with the Madrid Dyslexia Association (Madrid con la Dislexia) to Barcelona to attend the 1st International Conference for Learning Differences. The event was led by the Ricardo Fisas Foundation and Sant Cugat City Hall, who have started a wonderful initiative to help children with learning differences, most specifically with dyslexia and ADHD.
