On July 1st I went with the Madrid Dyslexia Association (Madrid con la Dislexia) to Barcelona to attend the 1st International Conference for Learning Differences. The event was led by the Ricardo Fisas Foundation and Sant Cugat City Hall, who have started a wonderful initiative to help children with learning differences, most specifically with dyslexia and ADHD.
We met up with Eric Tridas and Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan (Pres. and VP of IDA) as the Madrid Dyslexia Assn. recently became Global Partners in Spain for IDA. Below we are pictured with them along with Joyce Pickering of the Shelton School and the American Montessori Association.
